The clamshell dredge GE #6 will be working at the Greater
Vancouver Sewerage and Drainage outfall located on the
south side of the Fraser River just down stream of the new
Golden Ears bridge. Hours of operations are 0700 to
1800PDT May 15 to May 16, 2012.
Mariners are requested to use caution when transiting
the area.
The GE #6 will monitor VHF channel 06.

Military Exercise Area WG (north of Nanaimo), shown on Canadian Charts
3463 and 3512 will be partially active west of longitude 124 02.0W on
15 May 2012 from 0830 until 1700 LT for surface-subsurface-air
operations. Area WG west of 124 02.0W is extremely hazardous during
operations and is closed to marine traffic. Mariners are required to remain
well clear. A safe transit corridor of 1/2NM north of Winchelsea Island and
1/2NM east of Ballenas Island is available for passage. Notice to Mariners
35 Annual Edition refers. Daily range activity may change without prior
notice. Mariners may contact Winchelsea Island Control on VHF
Channel 10 for additional information.
